The road to success and recognition was not easy. The singer admitted that performing a couple of times a month in some bar is a great success

Laura did not have any connections in the musical environment, before she did not think at all about what show business is

Having written her first song, Laura could not believe that this was true:

In New York, the girl began to perform in the duet Lionfish. The line-up included LP's friend Alicia. The girls named the group by combining their zodiac signs - lion and fish

Their music was difficult to attribute to any direction: they performed both melodic ballads and industrial avant-garde

Lionfish gave concerts in clubs, went on tour in America. The vocals of the LP were immediately memorable and delighted the listeners

1998

In 1998, fate brought Laura together with David Lowry, founder of the rock band Cracker

The composition was released on Cracker’s "Gentleman's blues" as a bonus track

As a result of their collaboration, "Cinderella" was born — one of the first LP songs recorded in the studio
